The Social Security Administration (SSA) will host it’s 3rd annual small business procurement conference. Conference participants will receive information on the agency acquisition objectives during oral presentations from internal and external subject matter experts. Large businesses seeking to achieve supplier diversity with the small business community are encouraged to participate as exhibitors. Small business advocacy groups will be available as exhibitors to share advice and counsel.

For Third Annual Spring Conference

Registrations are now being accepted for the Third Annual Veterans Entrepreneur Training Conference which will be held 16 June at the M-Tech Center at Lansing Community College.

Topics such as procurement, starting and financing a business, marketing your business and veteran benefits will be explained in breakout sessions.

The early-bird registration fee is $25 and after June 1 it will be $30. Registration includes a continental breakfast and a box lunch.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be conducting their Annual FAA National Small Business Procurement Opportunities Training Conference and Trade Show.

This outreach event is designed specifically for the small business seeking prime, subcontracting, and mentor-protege procurement opportunities. Workshops are information packed and the forums are designed for firms to network with one another as well as with government agency attendees. All types of businesses are encouraged to participate!

July 19, 2010 (All day) - July 22, 2010 (All day)

As the largest conference of its kind, this nationwide conference will bring together over 3,200 attendees from Veteran-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB/SDVOSBs), Federal Agencies and departments, and prime contractors to share best practices of how to do business together.
