The Change Corp Project is an attempt to “change” and improve the way Veteran entrepreneurs get their information about ‘what’s next’ for their small business. The Change Corp Project is a website that allows contributors to ask good questions and get good answers. It also will allow Veteran small business practitioners to review and rate the institutions and individuals which they encounter during their search for information during their small business journey.

“Elephant in the Room”

Admiral Mullen’s humble words to our Gold Star Wives this past week pointed to an “Elephant in the Room” this Memorial Day.

Admiral Mullen and his wife Deborah both received awards for their work with the families of our fallen heroes. In his acceptance he simply stated that when it comes to remembrance of these ultimate sacrifices we need to be ever vigilant and more creative in finding new ways to honor those Veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice and their Survivors.

The "Elephant in the Room" for me is that one day is not enough to honor these brave souls!

The Veterans Corporation announces it receives a key contract under its NEOF Model

The Veterans Corporation (“TVC”), through its Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB”) affiliate, NEOF Technologies, Inc, (“NEOF”) has just been awarded a contract to develop and market the first in a series of Veteran sponsored call centers. The contract will enable TVC to now reach self-sufficiency as required under its authorizing legislation, Public Law 106-50.

New Post 9-11 G.I. Bill goes into effect August 1
Annapolis, MD) July 22, 2009 – The landmark Post 9/11 G.I. Bill will officially go into effect on August 1. The law is considered to be the most significant piece of higher education legislation for veterans since the original G.I. Bill was signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) is the State’s approving agency for this program.
